Veterinarian Services: If you are a local customer of Teacup And Toy Pets and your puppy becomes sick you can return it to our location and we will take the puppy to our veterinarian and will pay for care and services needed according to the health guarantee. We do not pay for any services or fees from your Veterinarian. We will pay for prescription medication only, if needed by your puppy during his / her first office visit according to the health guarantee.
 
Pet Insurance may help cover your vet bills, if you sign up for it right away. If you do not find the Pet Insurance brochure in your starter package, please contact Jan and she can get you the information you need. Her contact information is listed at the bottom of this page. 

 
HOLDING FEES:  If you request that we hold a puppy past our normal shipping day, there will be a charge of $20.00 a day for each day the puppy is held. If shipping is not needed but you request that we hold your puppy for over 48 hours, there will be a charge of $20.00 a day for each day that we hold the puppy. 

We prefer that our puppies not be held and would like to see them placed in their new home as soon as possible, so they can begin receiving individual care and attention from their new family. 

We do not allow any exceptions; please don’t ask for us to hold a puppy for you if you are not willing to pay holding fees. Holding fees start with the first day that the puppy was placed on hold for you.
You will not be charged a holding fee if you are waiting on a newborn puppy that is not old enough to leave his/her mother.

If you are requesting that we hold a Toy size puppy that is ready to go to his/her new home you will need to pay $400.00 of the puppy price plus $20.00 for each day that we hold your puppy. 
The balance is due at the time you pick your puppy up in person or 5 days prior to shipping.

If you are requesting that we hold a Teacup size puppy that is ready to go to his / her new home you will need to pay $600.00 of the puppy price plus $20.00 for each day that we hold your puppy. 
The balance is due at the time you pick your puppy up in person or 5 days prior to shipping.

If you are requesting that we hold a Tiny Teacup size puppy that is ready to go to his/her new home you will need to pay $1,400.00 of the puppy price plus $20.00 for each day that we hold your puppy. 
The balance is due at the time you pick your puppy up in person or 5 days prior to shipping.

If you are requesting that we hold a Select Tiny Teacup size puppy that is ready to go to his/her new home you will need to pay $1,800.00 of the puppy price plus $20.00 for each day that we hold your puppy. 
The balance is due at the time you pick your puppy up in person or 5 days prior to shipping.

Vaccines: Your puppy will receive its first set of shots at 5 to 6 weeks and another vaccine in 2 to 3 weeks from the date of the first vaccine until they are completely vaccinated. Your puppy will need a series of 4 vaccines. We normally give them a 5th kennel cough vaccine while they are here with us in the fall and winter. Time does not always allow us to completely vaccinate your puppy before it leaves our location. It will be your responsibility to continue the vaccine schedule that your puppy needs. Tiny Teacup, Tiny Toys and Teacups may start their first set of shots a little later than most Toy size puppies due to their size. If they are very tiny when their first set of shots are due we may wait until they have gained more weight to vaccinate them.


Your health guarantee must be postmarked, signed, dated and returned to Teacup and Toy Pets within 5 days of the date of purchase or shipping to be valid. All Puppies will be considered sold as is, with no size or health guarantee, if it is not returned within 5 days of the date of purchase or shipping. Postmark must be within 5 day time limit.
 
We do not mean to be so strict. However, we must be because we feel our Health Guarantee gives a lot of important information that you, a new puppy owner, needs to know. It has helpful topics, like what to do if your puppy becomes hypoglycemic and has a loss of appetite. The dangers of your puppy becoming dehydrated or eliminating where other pets, have been - very common in Toy Breeds that can mean life or death to your puppy. It can also save you an emergency trip to the vet. It can help you provide the appropriate care needed for your new teacup or toy puppy. We feel that you, the new puppy owner need to read and fully understand how to care for the type of breed that you plan to purchase because many people neglect to do so. Because we specialize in breeding tiny puppies we, the breeder needs to protect ourselves from being blamed if you did not know how to care for your new pet. They are much like newborn babies they need extra love and care. If you, the new pet owner, have been warned about danger signs to watch for, and the importance of keeping your puppy current on his/her vaccines, we feel they will live a full, happy healthy life. Even our tiniest teacups have been known to live up to 17 years. We realize there are a lot of anxious buyers. We do not want to just take your money and give you your puppy. We want to do all we can to educate you about the breed that you plan to purchase.

Our web site offers tons of information about toy breeds. I felt as if I was writing a book when I put it all together but it cannot help you, unless you take the time to read it. You can also ask your vet for helpful tips and pamphlets, read a book about the breed you plan to purchase, or do research about the breed on the Internet if you did not receive a written health guarantee with your puppy purchase. We are willing to stand behind the puppies we sell, but we feel that this can only be done if you know how to provide proper care for your puppy. Therefore, it will take a few extra steps on your part to insure your puppy gets off to a good start. Please note, If you cannot bring the puppy back to our location we do not under any circumstances, pay any puppy vet bills for pet services done to the puppy you purchase from us. It will be your responsibility to find a veterinarian that can provide pet care services for your new pet. It will also be your responsibility as the new owner to keep your puppy up to date on his/her vaccines. Johnson FWY Dallas Texas 75240 We are willing to guarantee and stand behind the puppy you purchase with a lifetime health guarantee when puppies are purchased at the starting price effective September 15, 2006 as well as give you the opportunity to get 2 months of free pet insurance that will even cover your puppy in the event that it should have a accident such as being hit by a car or if your puppy should break his/her leg, eat a poisonous plant, eat a coin or something that gets caught in their digestive system, etc..... WAITING LIST DEPOSIT: Please keep in mind that deposits are non refundable when increasing or adding payments to your waiting list deposit. We occasionally offer specials that allow you to request pet supplies in exchange for your deposit if you decide not to purchase one of our puppies. Your deposit must be received during the dates of the special in order to receive this offer.

REPLACEMENT PUPPY: If we have agreed to provide you with a replacement puppy we will only allow one year for you to select a replacement puppy. A waiting list application must be submitted by you, with your current contact information. If you have not selected a puppy within one year, provided puppies were available in the breed and size that you requested, we are no longer responsible for providing you with a replacement puppy.

REFUNDS: All requests for refunds must be sent by certified mail with the required documentation. If you are not sure what documentation is required send an e-mail to: Jan@texasteacups.com  
We do not want to risk lost mail, miscommunication over the phone or e-mails that do not reach us. Not all requests for refunds are eligible for a refund. If your request is not eligible for a refund, you may be offered a store credit that can be used toward a future puppy purchase or supplies in accordance with your health guarantee and purchase agreement.

Pet Supplies purchased thru our web site or walk in location are non refundable.

Coupons cannot be used with free pet shipping.
Lifetime health guarantee is not available and will be void if any puppy or puppies where purchased with any type of coupon, gift certificate or discount is used with any puppy purchase.


SIZE GUARANTEE: If the puppy you purchased goes over the weight we have set for that breed and size, we will give you a credit for the price difference in size for a future puppy purchase provided all of the required documents are returned by you completed and signed by a licensed veterinarian. You can request a size document verification form from Jan. Once the required documents have been completed by you and your veterinarian, we will send you an answer if a credit is due to you along with the amount of credit that you have with us toward a future puppy purchase. We do not give refunds for the difference in price. A $50.00 processing fee will be required if your pet is older than one year of age.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We do charge a $1,800.00 cancellation fee on Select Puppies, $1,400.00 cancellation fee on Tiny Teacups, $600.00 cancellation fee on Teacups, and a $400.00 cancellation fee on all other size puppies , if you send in your payment then decide not to purchase the puppy that we have held for you a $20.00 a day holding fee will also be added to your balance or cancellation fee for each day that we held the puppy for you.

Puppies purchased at the new starting price will receive the Lifetime Health Guarantee. After puppies have been reduced in price the lifetime health guarantee will become optional with a cost to the customer

If any discounts, coupons, gift certificates or credits are used to purchase puppy, you will not receive the Lifetime Health Guarantee or the money back Size Guarantee.

Lifetime Health Guarantee offers a replacement of your pet if death was caused by genetic health problems, non-genetic health problems or accidental death.

Replacement is offered only after pet is deceased, pet must be microchipped according to the health guarantee in order to become valid.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that request to purchase a puppy thru the internet or at our current location.
